This, coupled with big increases in population migration and a huge growth in so-called “adventure travel”, often to the countries where TB is rife, makes treatment and eradication of the disease one of the largest challenges facing the pharmaceutical industry. |

There has to be some way to galvanise and coordinate the efforts of governments, healthcare professionals worldwide, the pharmaceutical industry, fund-raisers and fund-providers everywhere. Without an all-out effort, Tuberculosis will remain one of the biggest killers of the modern world. | |
